Not having been to a hockey game in a few years I was really looking forward to it. My brother bought three tickets, for our dad, himslef, and me. This was the final game of the season for the Anaheim Mighty Ducks and they were going up against the team they will face in the playoffs, the Calgary Flames. As usual we knew the teams will try to push their weight around and establishment moment against each other for the playoffs. As usual the traffic was horrindous and then at the Arena security had everyone standing in triple lines around the corner as the game started. Most of the fans were still outside when the puck was dropped.

Our seats were pretty sweet, 20 rows up behind the goal. The place was filled with Flame fans as at points the "Go Flames" chants were louder then the home team ones. The game was very physical. Which resulted in a lot of power plays and 4 on 4's. It was awesome to see wide open hockey like that. These O.C. fans are a lot tamer then the crazies at the King games. Just a different vibe.

Ducks know how to entertain as they had hot chicks during play stoppage skate unto the ice and scoop up snow around the creese areas. They also had MORE hot chicks run aorund with big air shooters, shooting shirts into the crowd. Their mascot, the Wild Wing, harrassed Calgary fans. And they were giving away $40,000 worth of merchandise throughout the night. The coolest being jerseys off the players backs. Oh yeah, when the Ducks score a goal, these duck heads on the scoreboard shoot out smoke ... pretty fancy.

The third period was exciting with a lot of scoring and FIGHTING. At the end the Ducks pulled out an exciting 4-3 win [VIDEO] and the penalty minute total were over 100, with four good battles.

It was a great time as we (us three) rarely spend anytime together. The drive was long but the fun was worth it. Hopefully next year we can do more of this. Oh yeah, check out my out of control hair allover my dome, face and all. I need some razors and clippers. Well I got both but need some energy to do it. Lazy ass.
